The Helashrink heat shrinkable caps from the 1600 series are designed for low voltage and can operate with cables under voltage (0.6/1 kV). They are suitable for use with polymer-insulated cables and lead-sheathed paper-insulated cables, which may have aluminum or steel reinforcement. The inner layer of adhesive provides excellent environmental sealing, and the high shrinkage coefficient minimizes the number of required sizes. The caps can be equipped with air valves suitable for use with cable pressure monitoring devices.
Application: Protecting cables during storage or transport.
