Thermoshrinkable caps are used to protect cables from moisture and damage to their ends during storage and transport. They can also be used as insulation caps for low voltage cables under voltage (0.6/1kV). The caps are internally coated with a thermoplastic adhesive, which ensures tightness. HEK offers a large shrinkage minimizing the number of required thermoshrinkable caps. They are designed for insulating and protecting the ends of all types of low voltage cables with polymer and paper insulation, especially those operating under voltage, placed outside and underground.
