Helashrink series 1600 heat shrink caps are designed for low voltage and can work with cables under voltage (0.6/1 kV). They are suitable for use with polymer insulated cables and lead jacketed cables with paper insulation, which may have aluminum or steel reinforcement. The internal adhesive layer provides excellent environmental sealing, and the high shrinkage ratio minimizes the number of required sizes. Caps can be equipped with air valves suitable for use with remote cable monitoring devices using air pressure. Applications: Protecting cables during storage or transportation.
