Thermoshrinkable caps are used to protect cables from moisture and damage to their ends during storage and transport. They can also be used as insulation caps for low voltage cables under voltage (0.6 / 1kV). The caps are internally coated with thermoplastic adhesive, ensuring tightness. HEK offers a large shrinkage to minimize the number of thermoshrinkable caps needed. They are designed for insulation and protection of all types of low voltage cables with polymer and paper insulation, especially those operating under voltage, laid outside and in the ground.
