Thermoshrink caps are used to protect cables from moisture and damage to the ends during storage and transportation. They can also be used as insulation caps for low voltage cables under voltage (0.6 / 1kV). The caps are internally coated with a thermoplastic adhesive that ensures tightness. HEK offers a large shrinkage minimizing the number of required thermoshrink caps. They are designed for insulation and protection of ends of all types of low voltage cables with polymer and paper insulation, especially those working under voltage, placed outside and in the ground.
