PEC series caps, like standard heat shrink tubes, allow for easy and quick installation. The adhesive coating on the inside of the cap and the adhesive seal provide good and reliable protection against water ingress. The optimal 3:1 shrink ratio and various cap diameters allow for use in many applications. Other diameters and lengths are available upon request. These heat shrink caps are mainly designed for mechanical protection and to prevent dust and moisture from entering small diameter cables. Due to their quick and easy installation, these caps are also suitable for general protection, such as small enclosures or pipes.
