The MA47 version is made with an internal coating of thermoplastic adhesive, which melts upon shrinking and provides additional protection against longitudinal water migration and the influence of external and atmospheric conditions. It is primarily used to protect cables and wires exposed to high loads and mechanical damage, both above and below ground; both during the installation of new cables in the ground and in the repair of damage in existing installations.
