This medium-walled heat shrinkable tube is characterized by particularly good resistance to mechanical damage. It is resistant to the action of solvents, acids, and alkalis. The MA47 version is made with an inner coating of thermoplastic adhesive, which melts after shrinking and provides additional protection against longitudinal water migration and the influence of external and atmospheric conditions. It is primarily used to protect cables and wires exposed to high loads and mechanical damage, both above and below ground, during new cable laying as well as repairs of existing installations.
