This medium-walled heat shrinkable tube is characterized by particularly good resistance to mechanical damage. It is resistant to solvents, acids, and alkalis. The MA47 version is made with an internal thermoplastic adhesive coating that melts upon shrinking and provides additional protection against longitudinal water migration as well as external and atmospheric conditions. It is mainly used to protect cables and wires subjected to heavy loads and mechanical damage, both above and underground, during new cable laying or repairs to existing installations.
