This medium-walled heat shrink tube is characterized by particularly good resistance to mechanical damage. It is resistant to solvents, acids and alkalis. The MA47 version is made with an internal thermoplastic adhesive coating, which melts upon shrinking and provides additional protection against longitudinal water migration and the influence of external and atmospheric conditions. Primarily used as protection for cables and wires exposed to high loads and mechanical damage, such as underground installations; both in new cable installations as well as in repairs of existing installations.
