This medium-walled heat shrink tube is characterized by particularly good resistance to mechanical damage. It is resistant to solvents, acids, and alkalis. The MA47 version is made with an internal coating of thermoplastic adhesive, which melts upon shrinking and provides additional protection against longitudinal water migration and the effects of external and atmospheric conditions. It is mainly used to protect cables and wires exposed to high loads and mechanical damage, both above and below ground, for laying new cables in the ground and repairing damage in existing installations.
