This medium-walled heat shrink tube is characterized by a particularly good resistance to mechanical damage. It is resistant to solvents, acids and alkalis. The MA47 version is made with an internal thermoplastic adhesive coating which melts after shrinking, providing additional protection against longitudinal water migration and external and atmospheric influences. It is primarily used to protect cables and wires exposed to high loads and mechanical damage, both above and below ground; both during new cable installations and repairs of existing installations.
